Pharmacists from the Regional Drug Control Center in Nord-Pas-de-Calais warned: “The quantities of camphor used are largely unknown and the tablets are sold on the Internet, without any quality control.” According to the Medicines Agency, there is a risk of seizures and allergic reactions resulting in a “sense of intense cooking.”
Therefore, do not trust the miracle recipes presented on the Internet, especially when it is included in the list of ingredients of their medicines.
