Equipment

•Stand mixer or hand mixer

•Mixing bowls

•Measuring cups & spoons

•Spatula

Ingredients

•1 cup granulated sugar

•5 tbsp all-purpose flour

•1 cup milk

•1 cup unsalted butter, softened

•1 tsp vanilla extract

Instructions

1️⃣ Cook the Base – In a saucepan over medium heat, whisk together the flour and sugar. Slowly add the milk, whisking continuously. Cook until the mixture thickens into a pudding-like consistency (about 5-7 minutes).

2️⃣ Cool the Mixture – Remove from heat and transfer the mixture to a bowl. Let it cool completely to room temperature before the next step (important for smooth frosting).

3️⃣ Whip the Butter – In a separate bowl, beat the softened butter with a hand mixer or stand mixer until light and fluffy (about 3 minutes).

4️⃣ Combine & Whip – Gradually add the cooled flour mixture to the whipped butter one spoonful at a time, beating constantly. Once combined, beat on high speed for 5 minutes until the frosting is light, fluffy, and silky smooth.

5️⃣ Add Flavor – Mix in vanilla extract and beat for another minute.

6️⃣ Frost & Enjoy – Use immediately to frost cakes, cupcakes, or cookies!

Storage Options

Notes

✔️ For Extra Flavor, try adding almond extract, lemon zest, or cocoa powder for a twist.

✔️ If Your Frosting Looks Curdled, keep beating—it will smooth out!

✔️ Let the Flour Mixture Cool Completely before adding it to the butter to prevent melting.

This $300 Frosting is light, fluffy, and incredibly delicious—a must-try for any baking lover! 🧁💛
