BIG MAC PASTA SALAD

Ingredients

12 ounces pasta (rotini or shells)

1 pound ground beef

1 teaspoon garlic powder

1/2 teaspoon salt

1/4 teaspoon black pepper

1 cup shredded cheddar cheese

1 cup shredded lettuce

1/2 cup diced pickles

1/4 cup finely diced onion (optional)

For the Big Mac sauce

1 cup mayonnaise

1/4 cup ketchup

2 tablespoons yellow mustard

2 tablespoons sweet pickle relish

1 teaspoon white vinegar

1/2 teaspoon paprika

Instructions

  1. Cook the pasta according to package instructions until tender. Drain and rinse with cold water to cool completely.
  2. In a skillet over medium heat, cook the ground beef with garlic powder, salt, and black pepper until browned. Drain excess grease and allow the beef to cool slightly.
  3. In a large bowl, combine the cooked pasta, ground beef, shredded cheddar cheese, diced pickles, and onion.
  4. In a separate bowl, whisk together the mayonnaise, ketchup, mustard, relish, vinegar, and paprika to make the dressing.
  5. Pour the dressing over the pasta mixture and toss until evenly coated.
  6. Gently fold in the shredded lettuce just before serving.
  7. Chill for about 30 minutes if desired, then serve.
