Ingredients
12 ounces pasta (rotini or shells)
1 pound ground beef
1 teaspoon garlic powder
1/2 teaspoon salt
1/4 teaspoon black pepper
1 cup shredded cheddar cheese
1 cup shredded lettuce
1/2 cup diced pickles
1/4 cup finely diced onion (optional)
For the Big Mac sauce
1 cup mayonnaise
1/4 cup ketchup
2 tablespoons yellow mustard
2 tablespoons sweet pickle relish
1 teaspoon white vinegar
1/2 teaspoon paprika
Instructions
- Cook the pasta according to package instructions until tender. Drain and rinse with cold water to cool completely.
- In a skillet over medium heat, cook the ground beef with garlic powder, salt, and black pepper until browned. Drain excess grease and allow the beef to cool slightly.
- In a large bowl, combine the cooked pasta, ground beef, shredded cheddar cheese, diced pickles, and onion.
- In a separate bowl, whisk together the mayonnaise, ketchup, mustard, relish, vinegar, and paprika to make the dressing.
- Pour the dressing over the pasta mixture and toss until evenly coated.
- Gently fold in the shredded lettuce just before serving.
- Chill for about 30 minutes if desired, then serve.
