Big Mac Tater Tot Casserole
Ingredients:

2 lbs ground beef (ground chicken, turkey, or venison also work)
2 lb bag of frozen tater tots
1 yellow onion, diced
1 cup Thousand Island Dressing
2 cups sharp cheddar cheese, shredded
1 cup Velveeta cheese, cubed
1/4 cup dill relish
1/4 cup ketchup
1 teaspoon garlic powder
1 teaspoon onion powder
Salt and pepper to taste
Instructions:

Preheat and Prep:
Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C). Place the tater tots on a baking sheet and cook for about 15 minutes to start getting them crispy.

Cook the Beef:
In a large skillet over medium-high heat, cook the ground beef and diced onion until the beef is browned and cooked through. Drain any excess grease.

Season and Mix:
Season the beef mixture with garlic powder, onion powder, salt, and pepper. Add the Thousand Island dressing, ketchup, and dill relish. Stir well to combine.

Melt the Cheese:
Add the Velveeta cheese cubes to the beef mixture. Stir until the cheese is completely melted and the mixture is well combined.

Assemble the Casserole:
Spread the beef mixture evenly in the bottom of a 9×13-inch baking dish. Remove the tater tots from the oven and arrange them in a single layer on top of the beef mixture.

Bake:
Bake the casserole in the preheated oven for 20 minutes.

Add Cheddar Cheese:
Sprinkle the shredded cheddar cheese over the top of the tater tots. Return the casserole to the oven and bake for an additional 10-15 minutes, until the cheese is golden brown and bubbly.

Serve:
Let the casserole cool slightly before serving. For an extra Big Mac experience, top with shredded lettuce and a drizzle of extra Thousand Island dressing.

Tips for Freezing:

If you want to freeze the casserole, bake it as directed, then let it cool completely. Wrap it tightly with plastic wrap and aluminum foil, or use a vacuum sealer. When ready to eat, thaw in the refrigerator and reheat in the oven at a low setting, or microwave individual servings. Note that the tater tots may lose some crispiness.
