Ingredients
1 pack King’s Hawaiian sweet rolls (12 rolls)
225 g cream cheese (softened)
1/3 cup sugar
1 egg
1 tsp vanilla extract
1/4 cup butter (melted)
1 tbsp brown sugar
1/2 tsp cinnamon
For the glaze
1/2 cup powdered sugar
1–2 tbsp milk
1/2 tsp vanilla extract
Instructions
Preheat your oven to 175°C
Slice the rolls in half horizontally, keeping them connected as one slab
Place the bottom half into a greased baking dish
In a bowl, mix the cream cheese, sugar, egg, and vanilla until smooth and creamy
Spread the cheesecake mixture evenly over the bottom layer of rolls
Place the top half of the rolls back on
Mix melted butter with brown sugar and cinnamon, then brush over the tops
Bake for 20–25 minutes until golden and set
While baking, mix powdered sugar, milk, and vanilla to make the glaze
Drizzle the glaze over the warm danish before serving
