I absolutely adore rich, fudgy brownies—not so much the cakey kind. How about you? Do you prefer corner pieces or middle ones? It seems like everyone I know loves the corner pieces, but me? I crave those gooey, all-edge center pieces! They have to be fudgy—did I mention that?

Combining my love for Mounds (and Almond Joy!) with brownies was inevitable.

You can make these brownies from scratch or use a boxed mix for convenience. Either way, they are scrumptious and freeze wonderfully! Any extra topping can be stored in the fridge and reheated in the microwave at 50% power.

I have a specific routine for eating Almond Joy candies—I always bite off the almond first. Then, I feel like I’m enjoying a Mounds bar.

Mounds bars have always been a favorite of mine. They’re even more special now because my son dislikes coconut, so I can keep as many Mounds bars as I want in the house without worrying about little hands stealing them away!
