Snickers Fudge Recipe

Ingredients
First Layer – Chocolate:
• 1 cup milk chocolate chips
• ¼ cup creamy peanut butter
Second Layer – Nougat:
• 4 tablespoons butter
• 1 cup sugar
• ¼ cup evaporated milk
• 1 ½ cups marshmallow crème (about 7 ounces)
• 1 tablespoon to ¼ cup creamy peanut butter (optional)
• 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
• 1 cup salted peanuts, chopped
Third Layer – Caramel:
• 11-14 ounces caramels (unwrapped)
• ¼ cup evaporated milk
Fourth Layer – Chocolate:
• 1 cup milk chocolate chips
• ¼ cup creamy peanut butter
Instructions
1. Prepare the Pan:
• Line a 9×13 inch baking pan with parchment paper for easy removal later.
2. First Layer – Chocolate:
• In a small bowl, combine the milk chocolate chips and peanut butter.
• Microwave for 30 seconds, stir, then microwave again for another 30 seconds until smooth. You may need to repeat this step.
• Pour the mixture into the prepared pan and spread it evenly. Place in the freezer to set.
3. Second Layer – Nougat:
• In a medium saucepan, melt the butter over medium heat.
• Stir in sugar and evaporated milk; bring to a boil and cook for 3 minutes while stirring constantly.
• Remove from heat and stir in marshmallow crème, optional peanut butter, and vanilla extract. Add chopped peanuts and mix well.
• Pour this nougat mixture over the chilled chocolate layer and spread evenly. Return to the freezer.
4. Third Layer – Caramel:
• In a small saucepan, combine unwrapped caramels and evaporated milk.
• Cook over medium-low heat, stirring constantly until melted and smooth.
• Remove the pan from the freezer and pour the caramel over the nougat layer. Spread evenly and return to the freezer.
5. Fourth Layer – Chocolate:
• Repeat the process used for the first layer by combining chocolate chips and peanut butter in a small bowl.
• Microwave until smooth, then pour over the caramel layer, spreading evenly.
6. Final Steps:
• Refrigerate for at least one hour or freeze for about 30 minutes until firm.
• Once set, lift the fudge out of the pan using the parchment paper and cut into squares.
7. Storage:
• Keep any leftover fudge refrigerated or frozen for best results.
