Batch in the fridge now.

Here’s how I tweaked this recipe, considering that you have to strain it anyway, I figured why not pulse the lemons whole and then strain in a tea towel. Worked well, but took time…….faster than just reaming – NO! May make the moonshine cloudy, idk. It will still taste good.

Strawberry Lemonade Moonshine

Ingredients
4 cup Fresh lemon juice
12 cup Water
4 cup Sugar
1/2 liter Strawberry pur?e
1 Get the store bought daiquiri/margarita mix for the strawberry puree
5 cup Everclear (I use 190 proof )

Steps
Low heat mix water and sugar till dissolved
Cool to room temp
Add lemon juice and strawberry puree
Add everclear
Stir well
Strain out pulp
Jar it , and let it sit for a few weeks in the fridge
The longer it sits the better it gets
It yields 6 quarts plus a half pint (
if you use 5 cups) I always do a half pint to taste so you don’t have to open a quart jar if its not ready
You can use 3-5 cups of everclear , up to you and alcohol content you want
