Ingredients

•2 lbs stew beef or sirloin tips, cut into bite-sized chunks

•1 packet brown gravy mix

•1 packet Lipton onion soup mix

•1 can (10.5 oz) cream of mushroom soup

•1 can (10.5 oz) beef broth (or water)

•1 tbsp Worcestershire sauce

•½ tsp black pepper

•½ tsp garlic powder

•1 tbsp butter (optional, for extra richness)

Instructions

1. Preheat the Oven

🔹 Preheat your oven to 300°F (150°C).

2. Prepare the Beef and Gravy Mixture

1️⃣ In a large mixing bowl, whisk together the brown gravy mix, onion soup mix, cream of mushroom soup, beef broth, Worcestershire sauce, black pepper, and garlic powder.

2️⃣ Add the beef tips to the bowl and stir until they are fully coated in the sauce.

3. Transfer to Baking Dish

3️⃣ Pour the mixture into a 9×13-inch baking dish or a Dutch oven. Dot the top with butter for extra richness.

4️⃣ Cover the dish tightly with aluminum foil or a lid—this is the “No-Peek” part!

4. Bake Low and Slow

5️⃣ Bake for 2 ½ to 3 hours. Do not remove the foil or lid during baking!

5. Serve and Enjoy!

6️⃣ Remove from the oven and let it sit for 5-10 minutes before serving.

7️⃣ Serve over mashed potatoes, rice, egg noodles, or buttered rolls. Garnish with fresh parsley if desired.

Storage Options

Refrigeration: Store leftovers in an airtight container in the fridge for up to 4 days.

Freezing: Freeze in a freezer-safe container for up to 3 months. Thaw overnight in the fridge before reheating.

Reheating: Warm on the stovetop over low heat or in the microwave in 30-second intervals until heated through.

Notes

Want a thicker gravy? Stir in a cornstarch slurry (1 tbsp cornstarch + 2 tbsp water) in the last 30 minutes of baking.

Love mushrooms? Add 1 cup of fresh sliced mushrooms before baking.

Make it in the slow cooker: Cook on LOW for 6-8 hours or HIGH for 4-5 hours.
