1 9-inch pie crust (store-bought or homemade)
1 cup diced cooked ham
1/2 cup red bell pepper, diced
1/2 cup green bell pepper, diced
1/2 cup onion, diced
1 cup shredded cheddar cheese
4 large eggs
1 cup heavy cream or half-and-half
1/2 teaspoon salt
1/2 teaspoon black pepper
1 tablespoon butter or oil
Instructions
Preheat oven to 375°F (190°C). Place pie crust into a 9-inch pie dish and set aside.
Heat butter or oil in a skillet over medium heat. Sauté diced onion and bell peppers until softened, about 5 minutes. Remove from heat and let cool slightly.
In a bowl, whisk together eggs, cream, salt, and black pepper until well combined.
Sprinkle ham, sautéed vegetables, and shredded cheese evenly over the pie crust. Pour egg mixture over the top.
Bake 35–45 minutes, until the center is set and the top is lightly golden.
