Tips for Success

Use boneless, skinless chicken for quicker cooking

Cook over medium heat to avoid burning the sugar

Let the sauce simmer and reduce slightly to thicken

Add sauce after the chicken is browned for best texture

Ingredients

4 boneless, skinless chicken breasts or thighs

4 tablespoons butter

4 garlic cloves, minced

½ cup brown sugar

1 tablespoon olive oil

Salt and pepper to taste

Chopped parsley for garnish (optional)

Directions

Season chicken with salt and pepper.

Heat olive oil in a skillet over medium heat. Add chicken and sear until golden on both sides, about 4–5 minutes per side. Remove from pan and set aside.

In the same pan, melt butter and sauté garlic until fragrant, about 1 minute. Stir in brown sugar and cook until slightly bubbly.

Return chicken to the pan and spoon sauce over it. Reduce heat to low and simmer for 5–10 minutes until chicken is cooked through and glazed.

Serve hot, garnished with chopped parsley if desired.
