Ingredients

For the Steak

2 ribeye or strip steaks

1 tablespoon olive oil

1 teaspoon salt

1/2 teaspoon black pepper

1/2 teaspoon paprika

1 tablespoon butter

1 clove garlic, smashed

For the Mashed Potatoes

2 lbs potatoes, peeled and cubed

4 tablespoons butter

1/2 cup warm milk or cream

Salt and pepper to taste

For the Green Beans & Corn

1 lb green beans, trimmed

1 tablespoon butter

Salt and pepper to taste

2 ears corn on the cob

Instructions

Boil potatoes in salted water until fork-tender. Drain, mash with butter and warm milk, then season to taste. Cook corn in boiling water for 5–7 minutes and set aside with butter. Sauté green beans in butter until tender-crisp and season lightly.

Season steaks with salt, pepper, and paprika. Heat a skillet over medium-high with olive oil. Sear steaks 3–4 minutes per side until desired doneness. Add butter and garlic, spooning over the steaks. Rest for 5 minutes before serving. Serve hot with mashed potatoes, green beans, and corn.
